Vicki Abraham Wasn’t Short On Expertise. She Was Short On Capacity. Here’s How She Fixed It

Meet Vicki Abraham: Helping Leaders Create Better Outcomes

Vicki Abraham is the founder of Better Outcome Coaching, a leadership coaching business helping individuals and teams improve confidence, communication and performance.

With a background in leadership development, coaching and facilitation, Vicki specialises in helping people understand themselves, how they think and how they create better outcomes.

Her work incorporates Meta Dynamics®, a framework that helps individuals and leaders understand their thinking patterns, decision-making and behaviours to create meaningful change.

Through her coaching, Vicki helps leaders:

  • Build greater self-awareness
  • Improve communication
  • Develop stronger leadership skills
  • Create better outcomes in business and life

But like many business owners, building a successful business meant wearing many different hats.

Behind the scenes, Vicki and her partner were managing:

  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Networking
  • Administration
  • Client relationships
  • Business development

For a long time, they made it work.

But eventually, the business reached a point where doing everything themselves was no longer sustainable.

When Growth Creates More Pressure Instead Of More Freedom

Vicki reached a stage where she felt like she and her partner were constantly busy but not moving forward.

They were putting in the effort but felt like they were “drowning” and “spinning wheels”.

The challenge was not their commitment.

The challenge was that too much of the business depended on them.

They were responsible for every decision and every detail.

Like many business owners, Vicki had concerns about letting someone else help.

She believed:

  • “I can probably do it faster myself.”
  • “Training someone will take too much time.”
  • “Nobody will understand my business like I do.”

But staying involved in everything meant less time for the work that truly needed her expertise.

That was when Vicki realised something needed to change.

Finding The Right Support To Create More Capacity

Vicki knew she needed help, but the first challenge was understanding what support would make the biggest difference.

Before bringing someone into the business, she needed clarity around what could be handed over.

Through the EVS process, they identified the responsibilities that could move away from her and where support could create more impact.

The goal was not simply finding someone to complete tasks.

It was finding someone who could become a valuable part of the business.

This meant understanding:

  • What needed to be owned
  • What could be transferred
  • Where Vicki’s time created the biggest value

That clarity helped create the foundation for the right working relationship.

How Jasmine Helped Vicki Focus On What Matters Most

After being matched with Jasmine, Vicki started seeing the difference the right support could make.

Jasmine began supporting key areas of the business, including:

  • Event outreach
  • LinkedIn networking
  • BNI connections
  • Appointment setting
  • Supporting new projects, including book promotion

But the biggest impact was not simply completing tasks.

It was Jasmine developing ownership within the business.

Vicki shared that Jasmine manages her own time, projects and priorities, creating a true partnership rather than a traditional assistant relationship.

The ongoing onboarding, training and support also helped Jasmine continue growing with the business.

For Vicki, the biggest change was having more space to focus on leadership, clients and growth.

She was able to spend more time where her expertise created the most value.

And if you are unsure what support your business needs next, book your Business Bottleneck Audit.

We’ll help identify where your time is being lost, what responsibilities should move away from you, and what support structure your business needs next.

Because the goal is not to do more.

The goal is to build a business that can grow without everything depending on you.
