How did the decision to work with an offshore team influence your business strategy and contribute to overcoming early challenges?
“Honestly… I had been thinking about using an agency for a few years, but I couldn’t find the right one to give me the spiritual push to go ahead. It was a bit of an intuitive leap to do it but when I finally found the EVS website, I finally really felt clear about going ahead. In the beginning I was juggling lots of things myself and it was draining my energy. Vern my VA has been taking care of social media and doing a big thing for us — rewriting articles on our website. This is very important as far as ranking on Google is concerned. Articles must be ‘fresh’ not more than 15 years old like some of mine were! Bringing in support meant I could breathe again and focus on the deeper, creative, intuitive parts of my work — the stuff only I can do. Having a team, even across time zones, gave structure to the chaos. It helped me get more visible, more organised, and more aligned with how I actually want to run my business. I now have my second VA Christian, who is doing website work as well.”
